Resumo

The Financial Sector Advisory Center (FinSAC) is a specialized World Bank technical unit that provides bespoke reform guidance and hands-on implementation support on financial stability to client authorities across Europe and Central Asia. By strengthening the financial systems that underpin private‑sector growth, FinSAC’s work indirectly supports both the creation of new jobs and the preservation of existing ones, as more resilient banks and stable credit channels enable firms to invest, expand, and maintain employment even during periods of stress. This 2025 Annual Review presents an overview of FinSAC’s program over the past year focused on its objectives, scope of engagements, and the results achieved. It aims to illustrate how FinSAC is using its advisory services and providing capacity-building assistance to help client countries enhance financial stability and systemic resilience.
