Abstract

This Country Program Evaluation (CPE) will assess the performance of the World Bank Group’s (WBG) support to the Republic of Türkiye from Fiscal Year (FY) 2015 to FY 2026. The evaluation will focus on the relevance, coherence, and effectiveness of the World Bank Group’s contribution to Türkiye’s aim of achieving high-income status. It will cover three World Bank Group strategies, the FY12-15 Country Partnership Strategy (CPS) from FY15 through its extension to FY17; the entire FY18-21 Country Partnership Framework (CPF), including its extension through FY23; and the first three years of the ongoing FY24-28 CPF. The evaluation seeks to identify lessons to inform future WBG engagement in support of Türkiye’s development priorities, including the next CPF, which is expected in FY28.
