Abstract

This Global Rapid Post-Disaster Damage Estimation (GRADE) report summarizes the direct economic damage to buildings and infrastructure assets caused by the moment magnitude3 (Mw) 7.2 and the Mw 7.5 earthquakes in Venezuela on June 24, 2026. This report provides critical insights to support response and recovery planning, as well as strategic discussions on risk reduction. The assessment does not consider the disaster losses or needs of the event, which could be assessed through future partner initiatives.
